This month in brief

Welcome February! The Winter term is in full swing, and we hope that all your classes are going well. We have lots of events and activities planned for you this month including a housing rights info session on Feb. 7, a comedy show on Feb. 8 and Therapy Dogs on Feb. 10.

The month of February is Black History Month, a time to celebrate Black culture, history, and achievements of Black communities in Canada and beyond. Find a range of Clubs and Services that support and empower students of African and Caribbean heritage including the UW African Student Association (UW ASA), the UWaterloo Association of Caribbean Students, the UW Black Association for Student Expression (UW BASE), the AfroXDance Club, and Racial Advocacy for Inclusion, Solidarity, and Equity (RAISE).

WUSA Election

Meet the students who want to represent you this coming year! Check out our upcoming election events. Grab a snack, meet candidates, other WUSA members and get involved in your student association. Visit vote.wusa.ca to learn about who is running in this year’s Election. Voting happens Feb. 13 – 15!
