Each term, we join forces with a number of other University departments to welcome new students to the UWaterloo community through Orientation events and programming.
Orientation events are organized by student leaders and are designed to help prepare first-year students for academic, cultural, and social success. We aim to create an inclusive community that values interconnection, diversity, and independence.
Through events like Warrior Welcome, Black & Gold Day, and Single & Sexy, Orientation is a fun, supportive, and informative way to transition new students and to encourage first-years to feel a sense of belonging and pride in our Warrior community.
Want to get involved? Orientation has over 1,200 volunteer opportunities in various levels of leadership roles.
Check out our current openings under Jobs and Opportunities and follow WUSA for more information as it becomes available.
