Every culture has its ghost stories, the ones passed down from grandparents, whispered at sleepovers, or told to keep kids from wandering off after dark. But where do these stories come from, and what happens when they turn into stereotypes about the people who tell them?

Join RAISE for a night of myths, folklore, and good conversation. We’ll kick things off with a short presentation and some cultural storytelling, then dig into how stories get passed down through generations and how history shapes the way cultures are seen today. Bring your own stories, your questions, or just your curiosity. It’s a welcoming space to learn from each other.

It’s drop-in, so come for a story or stay the whole night. Free pizza and chips, while supplies last.
