Recognizing National Indigenous History Month with WUSA

In addition to being Pride Month, June is also National Indigenous History Month. It’s an opportunity to learn about the unique cultures, traditions, and experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis People, and to honour their stories, achievements, and resilience. It’s also about reflecting on the history of colonialism in Canada and the impacts colonialism continues to have on Indigenous communities. As we work towards truth and reconciliation, we all have a role to play in advancing reconciliation.
Here’s how you can celebrate National Indigenous History Month with WUSA.
