2025-26 WUSA Election Results: Thanks for Another Successful Election Season

We just wrapped up the 2025-26 WUSA Election for our Board of Directors and for Senate positions. A huge thank you to each and every one of you who voted, ran as a candidate, came out to our events, or supported the election process in some way.  

The voter turnout for this election was 21.69% with 7562 of 34870 eligible voters casting their ballot. This is our second year in a row with an over 20% voter turnout!

Once again, thank you to everyone who made their voice heard in this election! You’ve demonstrated year after year that you want to see a more engaged student community at Waterloo. The winner of the laptop will be announced in the coming days.

Continue to exercise your right to vote on all things WUSA by attending the upcoming General Meeting on March 26!  Don’t forget the deadline to submit a motion is February 14 at 5 PM. You can learn how to submit a motion on our website.
