Here at UW Foundation for Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC), we envision a world in which all children have an equal opportunity to benefit from modern medicine. UW FIMRC raises funds for medical projects, increases awareness on public health topics, provides volunteer services within the community, and coordinates volunteer groups to travel to international clinic sites (currently on hold) Please update the quantity to your desired donation amount. The actual blaster rented will be documented by UW HvZ at the time of rental. In the event the blaster isn't returned within the time frame allocated at the time of sign-out, this deposit will be forfeited. Please purchase as many deposits as are required for the value of the rental when you pick up your rental (the rent value will always be a multiple of 10). UW Mambo club's (mamboclub.ca) weekly Salsa and Bachata dance classes. Founded in 2007, the University of Waterloo Mambo Club is the 1st dance studio to bring Latin dance classes to students and the general public in the Kitchener Waterloo region. We offer weekly Salsa & Bachata classes and a guide to KW social dancing venues. -
UW MEDLIFE is a student-run club aiming to support low-income communities in Latin America and Africa through raising awareness of global health and development issues, collecting donations, and volunteering at home and abroad. WUSA recognizes that much of the work we do happens on the traditional territory of the neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The land we work on is covered by the Between the Lakes Treaty, No. 3 (1792), and this region is still home to First Nation, Inuit, and Metis peoples from across Turtle Island.
