Share Your Feedback on the Student Lounge Project

The Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association is continuing work on the Student Lounge Project—an initiative aimed at creating a welcoming, functional space where undergraduate students can study, relax, connect with peers, and access campus resources.
The current vision for the Student Lounge focuses on building a flexible, student-centred environment that supports a range of needs. The space is being designed to accommodate everything from quiet study and casual hangouts to small events, programming, and student services. The goal is to create a space that reflects how Waterloo students actually want to spend time on campus.
To make sure the lounge meets those needs, WUSA is asking you to share their thoughts on the latest plans. Feedback will help guide decisions about how the space is used and what it includes. Consider questions such as: Would this be a space you would use? What kinds of programs or services would you like to see offered there? Is there anything you feel the current vision is missing?
Undergraduate students who complete the feedback form will also be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card. The feedback contest is open until May 31, 2026. The giveaway rules can be found here.
You can review the latest updates to the lounge plan and submit your feedback at wusa.ca/lounge. Take a few minutes to share their ideas and help shape the future of this student space!
