Contest Rules 

1. How to Enter

• Submit your meme through the Microsoft Form linked in our Instagram bio. No purchase necessary. 

• This contest is not sponsored or affiliated with Instagram. 

2. Eligibility

• Open to all current undergraduate students at the University of Waterloo. 

3. Prize Procedure

• Contest opens: December 12, 2025 at 9:00 AM EDT 

• Contest closes: December 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM EDT 

• Only ONE (1) meme submission per person will be accepted. Multiple entries will not be considered. 

• After submissions close, entries will be reviewed and judged based on originality, creativity, and overall relatability to exam season. 

• Top 10 winners will be selected. 

• Winners will be notified via Instagram DM and will have 24 hours to respond (until December 16 at 11:59 PM). If no response is received during this time, another winner will be selected. 

• Winners will be required to correctly answer a skill-testing question before receiving their prize. 

The submission form will ask for: 

• Your full name 

• UWaterloo email 

• Instagram account handle 

• Consent to being tagged on Instagram (@yourWUSA) 

• Upload a file of the meme 

Once eligibility is confirmed and the winner responds, the prize will be awarded. Failure to respond or confirm eligibility within 24 hours will result in forfeiture. 

4. Prize

Each winner will receive one (1) $25 gift card of the gift cards available for purchase on Amazon.ca from WUSA. 

5. General Rules

• Entries must be submitted via the Microsoft Form link in our Instagram bio. Submissions by any other method will not be accepted. 

• This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform, including Instagram. 

• Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. 

• Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, harmful, or violate any rule may be disqualified. 

• Hate speech, bullying, or harassment will result in immediate disqualification, and may impact eligibility for future @yourWUSA contests. 

• All personal information collected is used solely for contest administration and will not be used for other purposes without consent. Please do not share your personal information with any other account. 

• By entering this contest, you grant WUSA license to use, reproduce, and display the meme for promotional purposes, including on social media, websites, and publications.
