Board member resignation announcement

As an update from your WUSA Board of Directors, I regret to inform our membership that one of our Board Members, M. Bouzanne, has submitted her resignation from the Board, effective immediately.  

“I hereby resign my position as a director, effective March 23, 2026. I wish WUSA and students the best.” 

We’d like to thank her for the contributions she made as a Director with WUSA and wish her well as she takes the time she needs moving forward.  

Given the short time until the next governing year, we do not have plans to fill the vacancy at this time.  

You will start to hear more from WUSA about the 2026/2027 Board of Directors who start their term in May. If you want to learn more about getting involved, join the student leadership mailing list so you can stay tuned for what next steps WUSA takes each month
