The UW GlamourGals team will be visiting Chartwell Terrace on the Square Retirement Home for a morning of mini canvas painting with residents! Student volunteers will provide residents with an opportunity to engage in arts and crafts and, most of all, meaningful conversations! The goal of the visit is to foster meaningful intergenerational connections and help reduce social isolation among older adults. Volunteers will spend time getting to know residents, listening to their stories, and creating a welcoming, supportive environment.

This will be our chapter’s 5th visit to a local retirement home!
