Unexpected expenses don’t always come with a warning.

Join us in person for In the Black: Money, Anxiety & Decision-Making an interactive session focused on what to do when unexpected financial situations come up.

WUSA’s previous Tax & Budget Workshop showed that practical financial guidance can make a difference. After the workshop, the share of respondents who felt knowledgeable about saving money increased from 28.6% to 71.4%, and 100% said they would recommend the workshop to another student

Building on that, this session looks at what happens when life doesn’t go according to plan. Through practical conversations and real-life examples, you’ll explore how to respond to financial emergencies, manage debt, have difficult conversations about money, and prepare for major or unexpected life events.

Whether you’re dealing with an unexpected expense, thinking about debt, preparing for the future, or simply want to know what steps to take when something changes, you’ll leave with practical tools to help you feel more prepared.
