You open your laptop to start the assignment. You close it. You open it again. Somehow forty-five minutes have passed and all you’ve accomplished is reorganizing your desktop icons.
Sound familiar?
Whether it’s perfectionism telling you the first draft has to be perfect, your brain refusing to cooperate, or the assignment feeling so big you don’t even know where to start — being stuck is basically a universal experience. The good news: you’re not the only one dealing with it, and there are actually ways through it that don’t involve waiting for motivation to magically show up.
Come hang out with us for an hour of real talk about why we get stuck and what actually helps when we do. No pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with, no “just try harder” advice — just a low-key space to swap strategies with people who get it.
