Saturday. The river. Your people. That’s the whole pitch. 

You show up in the morning, hop on the bus, and by the time you get there you’ve already made a couple new friends (or reconnected with old ones). Then you’re in the canoe and honestly the second you push off; everything just gets quiet. No traffic, no notifications, just water and whoever’s paddling with you arguing about which way to steer.

Somewhere around the third bend you stop thinking about anything else. Then a few hours later you’re back on shore, kind of sunburnt, arms a little tired, already texting people about doing this again. 

That’s it. That’s Canoeing the Grand.

• Date/time: Saturday, October 3rd, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm 
• Meeting point: UW Davis Centre 8:45 am 
• Departure: Buses leave at 9:00 am sharp 

🚌 Getting there:
Transportation to and from the venue is arranged and included in the ticket price below.

Entry requirements: Open to all Waterloo undergraduate students. Please bring your WatCard along with your event ticket for check-in.

Ticket sales open September 16th and close October 1  — or when spots are gone.
