The Stem Cell Club, Healthcare Symposium, and Black Medical Leaders of Tomorrow are excited to bring students a hands-on Suture Workshop on October 7th!
The evening will kick off with a 30–45 minute presentation from Konul Karimova of GUS Medical School, who will share insight into Caribbean medical schools and the medical school experience. Following the presentation, medical students from McMaster University will lead an interactive suturing demonstration using simulated skin pads, giving participants the chance to learn and practice basic suturing techniques firsthand.
Whether you’re interested in medicine, healthcare, or simply want to try something new, this is a great opportunity to build a practical clinical skill and connect with others interested in the field.
Registration for this event is now closed, as capacity has been reached. The waiver form below is only for attendees who have already registered through our pre-registration form and must be completed prior to participating in the hands-on suturing portion.
All attendees must fill in the following waiver form prior to the event: Suture Workshop
