Municipal elections can have a direct impact on everyday issues like housing, transit, roads, local services, and the communities students live in.

Ahead of the October 26 municipal election, WUSA is hosting a Municipal Election Candidate Meet and Greet to give students an informal opportunity to meet candidates running to represent Waterloo, ask questions, and learn more about the people on the ballot. 🗳️

Candidates running for Mayor of Waterloo, Regional Council representing Waterloo, and Waterloo City Council Wards 6 and 7 have been invited to attend.

You can come and go at any point during the event and speak with whichever candidates you choose.

WUSA will also have municipal election information available to help you learn more about the October 26 election and find additional voting resources.
