Ready for a sweet summer escape?
Take a break from your studies and join us at Herrle’s Farm! This strawberry picking trip is a great way to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with other students in a fun, memorable way.
You’ll have the chance to pick fresh strawberries, walk around the farm, snap photos, and just hang out with friends — or meet new people along the way. Whether you’re looking for something different to do or just want an easy way to connect with others, it’s a great way to enjoy summer in the loo.

Date: Sunday, July 12
Time: 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM (check-in starts at 10:00 AM)
Location: Herrle’s Farm, 1243 Erbs Rd, St. Agatha, ON
Schedule
- 10:00 AM – Bus loading starts at DC, UWaterloo
- 10:30 AM – Buses depart
- 10:45 AM – Arrive at Herrle’s Farm
- 11:30 AM – Start picking strawberries
- 1:00 PM – Free time, photos, and socializing
- 3:30 PM – Return buses depart Herrle’s Farm
- 3:45 PM – Return to campus
*Important Note: If you miss the return bus, you’ll need to arrange your own way back to campus.
Ticket Options

The farm operates on a “Pay What You Pick” model for strawberry picking — you pay based on how much you pick. We encourage you to check the current price of pre-picked strawberries on site to help decide how much you’d like to pick yourself. There is also an on-site farm store selling other produce and goods, so come prepared if you’d like to purchase anything beyond strawberries.
🕒 Ticket sales begin on Thursday, June 25 and end July 10 at 12:00 PM. Subject to change based on availability.
Event is exclusive to Waterloo undergraduate students.
⚠️Accessibility note: Herrle’s Country Farm Market is a working farm with some uneven and unpaved terrain. Automatic doors are available at the main entrance for access with walkers or carts. Wheelchair accessible washrooms are available on site. Service animals and support persons are welcome at no extra charge.
