Take a moment to unwind at Midterm Meltdown — your chance to cool off and treat yourself during midterm season. Join WUSA Student Services for interactive activities and some well-deserved relaxation on Wednesday, July 15 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the SLC green space.
Visit six WUSA service stations, play the interactive activities, and collect all your stamps — fill your stamp card and redeem it for your free ice cream and a chance to win a prize!
We’re scooping ice cream in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and orange sorbet flavours (while supplies last). We have nut free, gluten free, and lactose & dairy free options available.
🛍️ Thrift Sale: Browse around the tables and thrift some unique finds — almost everything is under $10!
Please note: Stamp cards can only be redeemed during the event.
This event is exclusive to Waterloo undergraduate students. WatCard and completed stamp card are required to redeem your frozen treat.

Heat Warning: This event takes place outdoors during peak midday sun. Please bring a reusable water bottle, wear sunscreen, and dress in light, breathable clothing (a hat is a great idea too!). Students can head into the SLC to cool down if needed.
⚠️ Accessibility Note: This event takes place outdoors on a grass area with uneven surfaces. Please dress for the weather. There is no designated seating — the fun involves moving between booths. If you need a break, indoor space is available nearby. Please also be aware that the event may get loud with crowd noise.
