Chai and Verse: World Poetry Day feature

As March is the month World Poetry Day is recognized on March 21st, we are featuring one of our WUSA Club, Chai and Verse.

As the name might suggest, Chai and Verse is a poetry and literature club that aims to highlight prominent South Asian poets and their famous works, whether historical or contemporary. You can expect a hot cup of fresh tea at the door of each Poetry Circle event, where members gather to share poems from languages and cultures around the world – sometimes even their own original works!

Throughout the semester, the Chai and Verse research team also publishes informative long-form articles and themed poetry compilations on their Medium page, a great resource to browse in the periods between events.

Their next Poetry Circle is on March 7th – so mark your calendars, and check out @chaiandverse on Instagram for more details soon!
