The 2026 Black and Gold Invitational Mock Trial Tournament brings together talented student advocates who will argue both sides of a fictional, student-written legal case before a panel of judges and legal professionals.

Teams of four to six competitors are guaranteed three trials on the first day of competition. Following preliminary rounds, the top eight teams will advance to a second day of single-elimination, tournament-style rounds to determine the final standings.
