“Where’s Zeus” Contest Rules and Regulations

1. HOW TO ENTER 

No purchase required. 

Instagram (Tuesday, August 6, 2024) 

No purchase necessary. 

• Follow the @yourWUSA Instagram page. 

• Like the contest post which will be live at 10:00 AM EDT on Tuesday, August 6. The contest will run until 5:00 PM EDT on Friday, August 9. 

• Comment the 5 places where Zeus can be found 

 

Hate or hurtful speech, bullying, and/or harassment will be reported to Instagram and will result in a ban from the contest and potentially future contests held by the @yourWUSA social accounts. 

2. ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to all current University of Waterloo undergraduates. 

Entrant’s Instagram account does not have to be set to the public. 

3. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES

On the next day of the Contest Period (Monday, August 12, 2024), the WUSA (Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association) Communications Coordinator will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries. The first three contestants selected shall be declared the winner, subject to meeting all the conditions described in these rules. 

Winners will be notified that their Instagram username was selected through the direct messaging functionality of Instagram within 72 hours of the contest closing. A WUSA staff member will ask for your name to confirm eligibility and organize a pickup time for the prize. 

If a winner cannot be reached within 1 day (24 hours) following the first attempt of contact, or declines the prize, the prize shall be forfeited and WUSA has the right, at its sole discretion, to select another winner by following the procedure as outlined above. 

4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE(S)

Contestants will be notified through direct messaging on Instagram the following day (August 12th ) 

Prize monetary value of $25.00 CAD awarded to three winners. The value of $25 includes a digital gift card to a business of Communications Team choice.  

5. GENERAL

5.1 Entries must be submitted via the official contest platform [Instagram]. Entries sent in other ways will not be accepted. 

5.2. To be declared a winner, the selected winner will need to confirm they meet the qualifications outlined in this document.  

5.3 This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform including Instagram. 

5.4 Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, using any robotic, automatic programmed method that artificially increases the odds of winning or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified. 

5.5 Hate speech, bullying, and/or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification from the WUSA “Where is Zeus” Contest and potentially all other contests associated with the @yourWUSA social accounts. 

5.6 All personal information, such as name and contact information, is collected by WUSA solely to administer this Contest, and shall not be used for any other purpose without your express consent. By providing this information, you consent to it being used for the stated purposes.
