Voices for Peace: Essay Writing Workshop

Attend our Essay Writing Workshop on Friday, May 31st from 5:00 – 7:30 PM in the SLC Multi-Purpose room. You’ll learn to develop your essay writing skills by improving: creativity, clarity, grammar/syntax. While you’re there, you’ll learn more about the Voices for Peace: Essay Competition.

What’s the Voices for Peace: Essay Competition?

In honour of International Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament, The Women’s Centre encourages you to participate in our essay writing competition. Submit an essay pertaining to Women’s grassroots level initiatives to world peace, the impact of war on women and their role in conflict resolution, or women’s role in peace advancement through education initiatives and their impact, and submit it using the link here. Your essay should be 1,000 – 2,000 words. Submissions for the competition close on June 7th at 11:59 pm.

There will be two winners who will receive a Women’s Centre gift basket.
