Join RAISE for an engaging session with Vincent Kuber on November 24 in the SLC Black & Gold Room, Founder and Executive Director of STAC Hamilton (Steel Town Athletic Club), a nonprofit creating accessible sport, mentorship, and academic pathways for youth across Hamilton. An immigrant from Fiji, Vincent draws on his lived experiences navigating racial barriers and limited opportunities in sport to inspire meaningful community development.

What to Expect:

  • 12:00–12:30 PM: Vincent shares his journey as a coach, mentor, and advocate—exploring how sport can be a powerful tool for empowerment, social change, and education.
  • 12:30–2:00 PM: An interactive workshop encouraging participants to think deeply about their own lived experiences.
  • Work in small groups of 8–10 to engage in hands-on activities and dialogue connecting mentorship, teamwork, and personal growth.

Food from Irie Myrie will be provided while supplies last – free for attendees.

This is a unique opportunity to explore how creativity, leadership, and community intersect with sport and mentorship, leaving participants with insights and skills to carry into their own lives and communities.
