Know someone who would make a great student leader? or think it could be you? The nomination period is your chance to nominate yourself or a peer to be on WUSA’s Board – the team that represents over 35,000 undergraduate students and ensures that student voices are a part of every major decision that affects campus life. Serving on the Board is not just about meetings and motions; it is about impact. You will help guide how student resources are used, and contribute to improving the undergraduate experience.

Why nominate yourself?

Because you’ve got ideas worth sharing! You care about how things work on campus, and you want to be part of the team that makes them better. You are ready to turn your passion for student life, wellness, advocacy and governance into real action. You deserve a seat at the table!

Why nominate someone else?

Maybe running for Board isn’t for you and that’s okay. If you know someone who is a systems thinker, is always stepping up for others, possesses great leadership skills, or is passionate about creating an impact, you can nominate them to be on WUSA’s Board! Great leaders don’t always volunteer themselves, sometimes they just need someone to believe in them. Be that person.

Why it’s worth it:

You will join a team of students that are passionate about shaping the future of campus life. From clubs and services to advocacy and community building – you will be setting the direction for WUSA in accordance with our Long Range Plan and Annual Plan which includes affordability, mental health and wellness, and food insecurity among other things. Moreover, you will build real-world skills, make lasting connections and leave your mark on campus!
