Looking to make new friends and connect with the Caribbean community here at Waterloo? Join us for Bartending & Besties, a fun and vibrant speed-friending event hosted by the Association of Caribbean Students!

This event is all about building meaningful connections, especially for first- and second-year students or anyone new to Waterloo who’s looking to meet friendly faces and feel at home in our community. Through engaging friendship questions and quick conversations, you’ll get the chance to meet lots of people in a short time, and maybe even find your new campus bestie!

What Attendees can expect:

  • Non-alcoholic Caribbean-inspired mocktails mixed fresh throughout the night
  • Snacks to keep the vibes going
  • Fun, welcoming energy that celebrates the warmth of our culture
  • An easygoing way to make friends and strengthen our community bonds

Whether you’re new to ACS or a returning member, this is the perfect fall event to come out, connect, and enjoy a taste of the Caribbean while making lasting friendships.
