This month in brief

Published: Wednesday, March 1, 2023

Hello March!

While it may not seem like it, spring is just around the corner! We hope that you’ve had a restful Reading Week and that your midterms went well.

There’s lots to look forward to this month including Warriors on Ice on March 14, Cultural Caravan on March 16, and Therapy Dogs on March 24.

March is Women’s History Month and each week this month we’ll be featuring stories about current UWaterloo undergraduate women who participated in The Women’s Centre’s 2023 Voices publication on the @yourWUSA Instagram page. Voices recognizes different artistic expressions and experiences of UWaterloo undergrads and features artwork, photography, poetry, short stories, and other written works.

The WUSA General Meeting (GM) is March 21 at 5pm in the SLC. Mark your calendar! You’ll have the opportunity to hear what your peers are passionate about, get involved, and learn about WUSA’s advocacy efforts this coming year. Not able to attend the WUSA GM? No worries! Votes can be sent through designated proxies once the agenda has been set.

As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about WUSA services, programs, advocacy work, or events.

Wishing you a very happy March!
