Just like cities have urban plans, the University of Waterloo has a Campus Plan—a roadmap for how our spaces evolve to support learning, research, community, and sustainability.
We are getting close to a complete plan, and there is no better time to speak up. On Wednesday, November 5, drop in to preview the draft Campus Plan, explore interesting potential designs, and share your feedback before final refinements.
Your input will help refine the final Campus Plan that will guide Waterloo’s next decade of growth and connection. To serve you better and ensure everyone has an opportunity to have their say, we are offering two Open Houses at staggered times, and separate locations.
- Location: Student Life Centre, Black and Gold Room
- Event Time: 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Presentation: 1:00 p.m.
- Q&A: Immediately following the presentation (until approximately 1:50 p.m.)
- Additional Time: Explore displays and speak with the project team after the Q and A
- Location: Engineering 7, Rooms 2317 and 2357
- Event Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Presentation: 10:30 a.m.
- Q&A: Immediately following the presentation (until approximately 11:20 a.m.)

This is a casual, drop-in event — no registration required. If you cannot attend in person, we will be offering alternative ways to provide feedback. If you’d like to stay informed about the Campus Plan and future engagement opportunities, please sign up.
