About

Off Campus Community is a WUSA service for first and upper-year students living off campus. Run entirely by dedicated student volunteers, it organizes a portion of Orientation Week, social and educational events throughout the school year to connect off-campus students.

Dons are upper-year students experienced with off-campus living, and they help you get adjusted to the University and surrounding community.

Dons are a resource for the students: if you have any problems with studying, life as a student, finding resources or anything else at all, they will point you in the right direction.

A Message from your Coordinators

Welcome to the Off Campus Community (OCC) — your go-to space for everything off-campus at the University of Waterloo! Whether you’re in first year or upper years, if you live off campus, this is your community.

We host tons of events throughout the school year — from chill hangouts to fun socials. Stay in the loop by checking out our webpage, following us on Facebook and Instagram, or shooting us an email at occ@wusa.ca to join our mailing list.

You can also find us in the Student Life Centre, room 3201. Drop by to chat with our dons, play some games, ask questions, or just relax between classes.

Everyone’s welcome — come hang out and be part of the OCC community!
