WUSA Bike Auction

A row of various bicycles is parked in a bike rack. The bicycles differ in colors and styles; some have racing handlebars while others have traditional ones. The background shows a blurred indoor setting with warm lighting and figures in motion.
A sign in the foreground announces an upcoming bike auction with details about the date and location: Tuesday, September 27th, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, at Clark Hall. Several bicycles and people can be seen in the blurred background.
A person with short hair and a beard is speaking into a microphone in an indoor setting. They are wearing a navy blue shirt. In the background, there are three other people, two men and one woman, standing and listening. The area has modern decor and lighting.
A young man with short hair wearing a navy blue sweater with bicycle patterns is standing at a row of parked bicycles, holding onto one. He is outdoors, and behind him, there are people walking and a building with large windows.

WUSA recognizes that much of the work we do happens on the traditional territory of the neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The land we work on is covered by the Between the Lakes Treaty, No. 3 (1792), and this region is still home to First Nation, Inuit, and Metis peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work, play and live on this land and acknowledge that it is our collective responsibility to make our community and world a better place for all people. We acknowledge that educational institutions have not been a safe space for Indigenous students in the past and we continue to work to ensure that this is no longer the case.

The work towards truth and reconciliation is ongoing, please do your part and take time to learn more: TRC 94 Calls to Action | MMIWG Calls to Justice Report | Native-Land.ca | Student Supports & Clubs
