Why Is This Information Needed?
The Waterloo Region Immigration Partnership, the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, Conestoga College, and WUSA will all use this information to guide how we work together to improve services and living experiences for international students in the region!
Why is WUSA involved?
This survey aligns with WUSA’s ongoing advocacy work related to international students and is directly connected to conversations our student leaders are involved in through the Waterloo Town and Gown Committee. This work is ongoing in the provincial sphere as well, notably through our collaboration with the Ontario Undergraduate Student Association (OUSA) on an International Students and International Education Report in 2024. Addressing international student concerns requires a collaborative approach and it is important for WUSA to be active participants in this work. This ensures that we have access to up-to-date data so we can learn how to best serve all our members as their experiences may change year over year.
