What is XChanges?

Community building is one of RAISE’s core pillars, focused on engaging the Waterloo community through impactful events. We do this by hosting a variety of events, both big and small. Our signature event, XChanges, is an annual conference that brings together thought leaders and changemakers to share their experiences, insights, and expertise based on a specific theme.

This year, XChanges 2025: Beyond the Game: Empowering Voices & Leadership in Sports will empower voices and leadership in sports, highlighting the contributions of People of Color (POC) and addressing the systemic barriers they face in the sports world. The conference will feature inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and exciting giveaways, all aimed at driving change and creating a more inclusive sports ecosystem.
