To Be Honest: The Musical Premiere

The award-winning student orientation production ‘To Be Honest: The Musical’ offers an engaging overview of a year in the life of a student. It addresses important topics including homesickness, consent, academic integrity, imposter syndrome, and more, while emphasizing supports for students.

The musical aims to create an uplifting and welcoming experience for students, emphasizing themes of building connections, developing resilience, and advocating for oneself while attending the University of Waterloo.

If singing, dancing, and a bit of humour are your thing, this 60-minute show is a must see. TBH…you won’t want to miss it!

The Musical will take place in the Physical Activities Complex Main Gym. Use Box Office entrance from Burt Matthews Hall Green. Choose intended showtime from list (August 28, August 29, or August 30).

Doors open 15-minutes before the scheduled start time. Please arrive early. Thank you.

Our Services

WUSA recognizes that much of the work we do happens on the traditional territory of the neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The land we work on is covered by the Between the Lakes Treaty, No. 3 (1792), and this region is still home to First Nation, Inuit, and Metis peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work, play and live on this land and acknowledge that it is our collective responsibility to make our community and world a better place for all people. We acknowledge that educational institutions have not been a safe space for Indigenous students in the past and we continue to work to ensure that this is no longer the case.
