Jack Talk by jack.org

The Jack Talk is a mental health presentation facilitated by two trained and experienced youth speakers that covers the following topics:

  1.  Strategies for being there for others. Topics include: How to be there for others who are struggling with their mental health (through 5 Golden Rules), how to effectively initiate a conversation when concerned about another’s mental health, how to connect others to help, how to set appropriate boundaries, how to respond in a crisis.
  2. Strategies for being there for ourselves. Topics include: Self-awareness, emotional regulation, self-compassion, resilience, self-care, recognizing signs and symptoms of a mental health struggle, and coping strategies.
