Halloween With WUSA

Halloween is creeping up on campus, and WUSA has a few spooky events lined up to help you get into the spirit. Whether you’re looking for a good scare or just want an excuse to dress up and hang out with friends, there’s something for you this October. From a haunted circus hiding in the SLC to a Halloween-themed dance party at The Bomber, here’s what WUSA has planned so far.

Thursday, October 22: Bingeman’s Screampark Trip with ICSN

ICSN is heading to Bingemans Screampark for a night of haunted houses, spooky attractions, and a Scream Team whose whole job is to make you jump. You’ll head home with a candy bag, a slightly hoarse voice, and at least one story about who screamed the loudest. Spots are limited, so pick your group and book now!

Tuesday, October 27 to Wednesday, October 28: OCC: The Ringmaster’s Revenge

The Off Campus Community is turning the SLC Lower Flex Space into a haunted circus for The Ringmaster’s Revenge. Expect creepy rooms, jump scares, fog, flashing lights and plenty of reasons to question why you decided to walk in. Once you make it out, you can grab a photo at the scare-survivor photo spot and refuel with some popcorn. The event is free and open to Waterloo undergrads.

Thursday, October 29: Thrift Sidewalk Sale

Looking for a last minute Halloween costume? Or maybe just a cute, affordable and sustainable fall fit? Come thrift with us at our Sidewalk Sale!

Friday, October 30: UWDJ’s the gRAVEyard

If haunted houses aren’t really your thing, you can head to The Bomber for the gRAVEyard, a Halloween-themed electronic dance party hosted by UWDJ. Student DJs will be playing EDM throughout the night, with Halloween lighting, visual effects and a costume contest for anyone who wants to show off their Halloween fit. The event runs from 8 PM to midnight, and tickets are listed at $8 to $20.
