Annual Members Meeting: The Agenda Explained

Three people speak into microphones next to text "What's Happening at WUSA?" with a coffee cup illustration, setting the agenda for the Annual Members Meeting.

The Annual Members Meeting (AMM) for 2025, formerly referred to as the Annual General Meeting (AGM), is approaching! To be held on March 26th at 5:00 pm, we’re sure students are curious about the agenda items for the meeting and what topics and motions will be covered. Here’s a brief explainer with all the information you need to know about the meeting. ➡️

Updates Since the Previous AMM

  • 🏥 Gender-Affirming Care: There is ongoing work and collaboration with StudentCare to figure out the best method in which to provide care to students. The target date that WUSA is working towards is September 2025.
  • 🏡 Housing Resources Expansion: WUSA is working with the University and community partners to expand housing resources for students. Currently, we have our Housing Playbook, a go-to ‘manual’ on all things housing, complete with resources and support to help students navigate being a tenant. We also collaborate with the Waterloo Region Community Legal Service WRCLS to host tenant information sessions.
