The Federation of Students’ Special Project Fund grants funding to unique, one-time projects which offer opportunities liberally (neither selectively nor restrictively) among undergraduate students at the University of Waterloo. Please give a brief but thorough description of your project. Describe what students shall benefit from the fund and how; also describe the extent to which your proposed project shall be accessed by and accessible to participating students. Please note that without the documentation, your application will not be considered.

You must promote your project to undergraduate students at large at University of Waterloo, who must be informed of their access to the project and its results. Please describe your planned promotional efforts. If possible, attach the promotional materials that you will use. Please note that without the documentation, your application will not be considered:

Your project must be accompanied by an itemized budget so that the Internal Funding Committee is able to properly assess the project and the funding requested. Provide detail and specificity in your budget. Your budget must include amount of funding requested, itemized budget breakdown, price quotes from three (3) separate vendors per item. Please note that without the documentation, your application will not be considered

Please include a numbered list of groups and participating students, their student numbers, and the programs in which they study. If any participants are not students, please include their names as well. This list is intended for those individuals who help in the planning of the event. In addition, please provide either an estimate or an accurate number of individuals who will be participating in the finished project. Please note that the Special Projects Fund and the Internal Funding Committee give preference to those projects that have a large participation base of University of Waterloo students.
