Parking & Transit Information for the Student Life Centre (SLC)
Parking
Visitor Parking: Available in various campus lots, including Lot M and Lot N. Rates range from $3.00 per hour to $8.00 per day. For a full list of rates, visit the Sustainable Transportation website.
Walking to SLC: From visitor lots like Lot M or Lot N, it’s just a short walk to the Student Life Centre. For more detailed walking paths, refer to the Campus Map.
Public Transit
Grand River Transit (GRT): Several routes, including 201, 9, 13, 19, 30 and 31 serve University of Waterloo Station. The new Route 30 Ring Road will serve all existing Ring Road stops, connecting campus buildings to the new station. Students with a WatCard can use the U-Pass for unlimited rides. Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are available near the SLC. Be sure to have the appropriate permit if using these spots.

- Enter through the PAC (Physical Activities Complex) entrance, which is located near Lot M. This entrance is a convenient option for those coming from the parking lots.
- Once inside, head straight into the atrium of the PAC area.
- From the atrium, walk towards the elevator and stairs.
- Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor.
- Once you exit the elevator or stairs, the Black & Gold Room will be on your right-hand side.
