International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global organization that strives to protect the poor from violence throughout the developing world. Founded in 1997, IJM now has 17 field offices around the world—in Africa, Latin America, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Out of its 1,000 employees, 98% are nationals of the countries where they work. IJM rescues victims, brings criminals to justice, restores survivors, and strengthens justice systems. IJM UW supports IJM’s work overseas through fun team bonding events, guest speaker talks, movie nights, fundraisers, and more!
