UW Sleighs the Santa Claus Parade

Halloween has come and gone, and now everyone’s favourite holiday is just around the corner… Christmas! And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by “sleighing” the annual KW Santa Claus parade?

On Saturday, November 16 Santa Clause is coming to town, and UW students will be a part of the celebration. We’ll be walking along the route and handing out candy to all the kids (*insert “oohs” and “awes” here)! Even better, students will be sporting black and gold clothes, because no event is complete without repping Warrior pride. 

Any interested students are encouraged to come out and participate! Here are some of the major details of the event:

  • UW Students handing out candyWhen: November 16, parade starts at 10:30 a.m., meeting out front of SLC at 9 a.m.
  • Where: Begins at Frederick St., ends at Erb St. East
  • Cost: $3 without transportation to event, $5 with
  • Black and gold is a MUST (show that pride!) – festive hats are also encouraged
