Hello everyone,

I hope you have all been having a fantastic fall term so far. This email is to advise that the Federation of Students is hosting it October General Meeting on October 24 in the Student Life Centre Great Hall starting at 12 p.m. All undergrads are welcome and encouraged to attend!

(But wait, what’s a General Meeting?)

General Meetings (GM) are assemblies held for all undergraduate students. Held twice a year, once in October and once in March, GMs are where all undergrads are able to hear more about and vote on important updates that affect your campus life.

The addition of new services, potential changes to by-laws that affect how we operate, and changes to student fees have all been topics of discussion at past GMs – and as a member of the Feds, you can submit proposals for agenda items that you want discussed and voted on at the GM.

If you have something you want considered for the agenda, please send me an email at by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3.

For more information on General Meetings, please visit, or come visit us at the Feds Main Office in the Student Life Centre.

Help to guide our advocacy efforts and shape the direction of your student union – exercise your right to vote on matters that affect your undergraduate experience.
