Job Description: The Marketing Director is responsible for the Women’s Centre social media platforms, organizing promotional campaigns, and meeting with the WUSA Marketing Specialist. The aforementioned responsibilities entail managing the Women’s Centre Facebook and Instagram and all additional online resources that are required, such as Voices. The managing of these platforms includes posting updates, event promotion material, and relevant media content on a frequent basis, as well as planning social media posts and tracking social media analytics. This position will require more frequent collaboration with other executives and coordinators.
The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional organizational skills and a strong handling of social media platforms. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills and graphic design experience is preferred. This position requires between 5-8 hours per week on an average and a strong sense of initiative.
