RAISE

The Social Director is responsible for organizing and implementing small and large-scale social events that enable racialized students and allies to network. Responsibilities include being charge of Vibes Night. Also, using Vibes Night as a medium to collaborate with other clubs/services to build RAISE network.

Responsible for: 
– Planning term Vibes Night prior to start of term, confirming with coordinators + WUSA, through events calendar
– Working with WUSA to build consistent marketing for Vibes Night in the beginning of term
– Creating individual event plans including supplies, room bookings, collaborations and executing actions prior to each Vibes Night
– Marketing each Vibes Night the week of using social media (Instagram, Facebook)
– Planning term Vibes Night prior to start of term, confirming with coordinators + WUSA, through events calendar
– Attending each Vibes Night and ensuring good execution
– Recording attendee numbers for each Vibes Night and updating metrics graph for end of term
