RAISE
The Literacy Director is responsible for the in-office library, book collection and video/streaming resources for the service. This role is also responsible for the allocation of resources for students that can be found on our social media pages and website.
Responsibilities include:
· Management of our library:
· Catalog books into a system and build ability for students accessing the service to borrow books
· Help organize and allocate resources for students this role can and not be limited to:
· Reaching out to local organizations with the external director that can be aids to students on campus
· Finding scholarship opportunities for BIPOC students
· Aid in updates in the website wusa.ca/raise and building digital resource library
· Support Education/ Advocacy as there can be project overlap
