Service Description: The International & Canadian Student Network is a WUSA student-run service on campus. If you’re seeking to have a great experience at uWaterloo beyond academics and beyond borders, then this is the service for you! We aim to make all local, international and exchange students feel welcome here at the University and in Waterloo. Throughout each term we will be creating fun opportunities for you to make meaningful connections with people from around the world!

Role Description: ICSN is looking to hire a diverse engagement ambassador team who is passionate about our mission: to enhance student experience for international and exchange students on campus. We are looking for international, exchange and Canadian students to join our team! This is a volunteer position.
Key Accountabilities:
Event management and networking with students at Special Events throughout the term (Orientation Week, Services Fair, Monthly Events)
Participate in online engagement on social media platforms (ie. share FB posts/ IG stories)
Requirements and assets for the role:
Passion for volunteering and open-mindedness in cultural diversity
Commitment for the entire term
Creativity in expressing and implementing ideas for the service
Have good internet connection
Have access to a social media account
Experience with event planning would be an asset.
