Job Description: The Inclusion Director is responsible for helping ensure that Glow is inclusive of and welcoming towards racialized and Indigenous students by aiding with internal policies and external activities for students.

General Requirements for Glow Executives: 
Previous volunteer experience with Glow
Attending the weekly executive meeting and responding to emails within 24 hours
Inclusive of minority and marginalized groups
Reliability and professionalism
Respectful of pronouns
Organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities:  
Work with the coordinators on the creation of an internal racial inclusion mandate
Stay up-to-date on current issues faced by racialized groups
Connect with our community members who have concerns or feedback
Help with planning and hosting of events specifically for racialized/Indigenous students
Work with the External and Advocacy directors to determine the community’s needs and maintain our relationships with external groups
Work with the Marketing and Advocacy directors to develop content for queer and trans awareness days (such as Coming Out Day, Pride Days, etc.)
Aid in developing the responsibilities of this position further as it adapts to our resulting internal changes

Requirements: 
Lived experience as a racialized person
Openness to learning new information
Ability to deal with delicate situations
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of the needs and issues surrounding racialized and Indigenous communities
