As your undergraduate student representative, I want to use my excellent leadership, hardworking, and commitment skills to ensure that all of you feel connected and have the best university experience possible! I definitely believe that I can help Waterloo in having a successful year. I want to be that representative who is very easy to talk to and who people don’t hesitate to bring new ideas and express their opinions to. I am running for student representative because I want to gain experience in being a reliable and responsible leader, to help other students in the community, and to make connections and friends during my time in the council.

As a first year, I came into Waterloo with the goal of improving myself, and I believe that the position of Engineering representative would help me in achieving that through its various responsibilities. Additionally, I want to help students by representing them in meetings and as a member of the council. I also wish to create lasting relationships with peers, and make as many friends as I can along the way.

I am truly passionate about serving the engineering community via the vessel known as the Student Union, as seen in my published platform. I gained much of my insight and vigor, as well as my drive to serve, from long-time engineering councillor, and mentor, Jason Small. I hope to continue my good work as councillor if re-elected.
