SUMMARY:Trans Day of Remembrance: A Gathering for Remembrance and Community Care
DESCRIPTION:Come honour. Come remember. Come stand together.  \nJoin the Glow Centre for Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) as we honour transgender and gender diverse people whose lives have been lost to anti-trans violence. This is a space to grieve\, reflect\, and be in a community with one another.  \n\nTake part in a memorial vigil \nPause together for a moment of silence \nIf you’d like\, write a message of remembrance\, hope\, or solidarity on a paper butterfly. The butterflies will become a collective display in the Great Hall after the event. \n\nWhether you’re coming to show support\, to reflect\, or just to be there\, we’re glad you’re with us.  \nThis is an in-person event\, and no registration is required. All are welcome: University of Waterloo students\, staff\, faculty\, and the wider 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Light refreshments will be served while supplies last. \nAccessibility note: If you require any accommodations to fully participate in this event\, please reach out to us. \nQuestions related to the event? Email glow@wusa.ca \nFor updates\, follow @wusaglow on Instagram!  \nEvent is subject to change. Visit this page for the most up to date details.
