WSC Blue Mountain 1976 Ski Trip

Close out the winter 2023 ski season with Waterloo Snow Coalition’s LAST group trip of the term on Sunday, March 26th, 2023, where we’ll be headed to Blue Mountain for the Red Bull 1976! All skill levels are welcome to sign up and participate in the 1976 – and old-school throwback competition celebrating the best of retro snow culture (colourful and fun outfits encouraged!). It’s a team-based competition with two events – Retro Relay Race and Jozo’s Jump. Find more details about Red Bull 1976 and register with your team of 4 at the following link:

Notes: Only the team captain needs to sign up at the above link and pay the $80 fee (which can be split cost amongst the team of 4).
By participating in the competition, you will receive a free lift ticket for the day as well! After registration completion on the red bull website, team captains please fill out the following google form to receive your waived lift ticket.

If you decide not to participate in the 1976 event, you are still absolutely welcome to join us on the trip to ski/snowboard, support our teams, and enjoy the amazing late-season spring vibes at Blue Mountain! Thanks to our sponsor Red Bull, we’ve been able to offer discounted prices for our coach bus transportation and group-rate lift tickets! Group rate rentals are also available.

The itinerary for the day will be as follows:
7AM: Coach bus leaves PAC South

9AM: Coach bus arrives at Blue Mountain, skiing begins!

11AM: 1976 competition starts

3PM: Closing ceremonies + apres-ski afterparty

4:45PM: Coach bus departs Blue Mountain

6:45PM: Coach bus returns to PAC South

PLEASE NOTE: Group Lift Tickets and Rentals are on sale until Tuesday, April 21 at 12:00PM, while bus tickets will be available until we reach capacity.
