UW Ceramics Club Hand-Building Workshop #2: Handmade Palette

October 22 @ 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM EDT

This 3-hour workshop enables participants to explore ceramic slab techniques, create art using slabs, and experiment with underglaze painting.

During the workshop:

Presentation on “Intro to Ceramics”.
Demo on slab rolling and palette making.
Freestyle time! (If the palette doesn’t apply to you, you can create a jewelry plate or other forms of plates. But the size has to be the same.)
Underglaze painting.
Cleaning.

All materials and tools will be provided by UCC.

Participants are suggested to bring their own aprons.

Please bring your inspirational pictures;)

*The fired piece will be available for pick-up within a month after the activity.*
