The Black to the Future: Honoring the Past, Empowering the Future Conference is HERE!

Join us September 30th, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Communitech office in Kitchener (151 Charles St W, Kitchener ON N2G 1H6). This unique occasion serves as a homecoming for the Black STEM community at UW, providing a platform for networking, fostering connections, and building a strong community.

With an attendance of people at different stages of their academic and professional careers, the conference holds significant promise. Distinguished speakers include Aileen Agada, founder of BeBlended, Osose Itua, founder of Foodage Ajoa Mintah, founder of Four All Ice Cream, and Sefunmi Osinaike, co-founder of Co.Lab and Forbes 30 under 30 awardee are amongst other esteemed panelists and workshop hosts, ensuring high-quality insights and discussions around academia, entrepreneurship, mentorship and career advancement.
