2022 Municipal Election

It’s election time! Have your say on who represents you.

Student and youth voters have the chance to make a massive impact on the outcome of the upcoming election. Municipal elections in Ontario are held every four years on the fourth Monday of October.  The next municipal election will be held Monday, October 24, 2022. The last municipal election was held on October 22, 2018.

So, use this opportunity to vote for the candidate that best represents YOUR needs.

If you are a 18+, a Canadian citizen and reside in Ontario you can vote!

Its easy! Find your nearest advance polling station or you can vote at any of the following locations on Voting Day (October 24) no matter where you live in Waterloo:

  • Waterloo City Centre
  • Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex
  • John M. Harper Library
  • RIM Park
  • University of Waterloo – Student Life Centre MPR
  • Wilfrid Laurier University – Concourse
